Adama Sauvignon Blanc 2019

second vintage I'm having of this.

superb. especially for it's price(59 nis)

12.5% abv

medium body.
high acidity.

guava and 🍍, zesty lemon and grapefruit and added freshly cut grass.

very drinkable, a winner for whatever crowd.

paired well with surprisingly good homemade 🍕 including classic margarita and different toppings that included corn (the kids love it), mushrooms, anchovy, green olives, and 🍅.

not a match made in heaven but still fun.

Tabor Vineyard Red Blend 2009

Consistent notes from my last note in April 2018 although I note with age the youthful raspberry notes transform into more dried plum, earthy and meaty descriptors - the latter a bit like Biltong. Rich and savoury at the same time. 100% old vine Mataro from a single site in the Barossa. — a month ago

Tannat 2014

A very pretty color of dark ruby/ Inky with a wide reddish rim.

On the nose blueberries, plums, sweet cherries, black currants, light oak, licorice, chocolates, mocha, spices and black pepper.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, coffee, oak, spices, licorice, light vegetables, pencil lead, peppercorn, leather, earth, coffee and tobacco.

Medium on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

I opened this Israeli Tannat yesterday, and I felt like it is not there yet, so I corked it back and left it in the fridge for a day. Today it is drinking much nicer.

Nicely balanced and tangy, with a nice mouthfeel. Showing nice complexity.

This is my first Tannat from this region. Feels like a right Bank Bordeaux. Most of the Tannats I've had before, were from South America and this one is different, interesting and unique.

This Single Vineyard is very yummy now, and will be better in the next 5 years.

Grapes are grown in the Golan Heights region at an elevation of 3,000 feet. Kosher for Passover.

14% alcohol by volume.

Adama II Storm Cabernet Sauvignon Petite Sirah 2014

This Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Israel is very tasty. Drinking like a 10 year old Bordeaux now.

Showing black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, wet leaves, vinaigrette, coffee, black tea, earth, forest floor, green vegetables, graphite and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Nice finish with spices and round tannins.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. Only after 3 hours of airtime tannins come out. Delicious with good structure.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Kosher.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.
