See previous notes. Meaty aromas together with blueberry, red currant and raspberry - a hint of bay leaf. A wonderful wine from old vine Mataro (Mourvèdre). Medium to full bodied with stacks of savoury flavour. Sadly my last one. I should seek out more recent vintages. — 4 years ago
Made nice Father’s Day mimosas, finished the rest with dinner tonight. A little sweeter than our usual preference, but after hiding in the cellar forgotten for over a decade, turned out really nice. — 5 years ago
Full-bodied, yet nuanced. Stood up to Passover brisket. Dark red fruits with a hint of minerality. — 5 years ago
Would get again. Very good wine; nice balance; very flavorful and complex — 6 years ago

This 9 year old, Single Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon from Israel is still drinking nicely, but past its prime. I've had this vintage 3 years ago, and it was better then.
Spicy and fruit forward. Rich, yet elegant with a nice mouthfeel.
Really loved the nose right out of the bottle, but it changed as it opened up.
Good by itself or with food.

Bought at that cute Mt. Tabor wine room for $18. Very floral like I drank a glass of water a bouquet was sitting in. But in a good way. It’s got some funk to it, so it’s probably not for everyone. — 5 years ago
A very pretty color of dark ruby/ Inky with a wide reddish rim.
On the nose blueberries, plums, sweet cherries, black currants, light oak, licorice, chocolates, mocha, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, coffee, oak, spices, licorice, light vegetables, pencil lead, peppercorn, leather, earth, coffee and tobacco.

I opened this Israeli Tannat yesterday, and I felt like it is not there yet, so I corked it back and left it in the fridge for a day. Today it is drinking much nicer.
Nicely balanced and tangy, with a nice mouthfeel. Showing nice complexity.
This is my first Tannat from this region. Feels like a right Bank Bordeaux. Most of the Tannats I've had before, were from South America and this one is different, interesting and unique.
This Single Vineyard is very yummy now, and will be better in the next 5 years.

Выпит 0,375 l в одиночестве в Vital hotel в Тель-Авиве. Мягкое и нежное шардоне. Грустно и одиноко на душе. Не могу смотреть, как слабеет с каждым днём Светлана. Дай ей сил. ❤️ — 7 years ago
Restrained nose - but very full bodied and pleasant dark fruits. Quite tannic but soft on the finish. Nice. Shabbat shalom — 4 years ago

One of my favorite sweeter reds. Excellent chilled or room temp! — 5 years ago
Nice off-dry Riesling, better than expected for its age and color. — 5 years ago
Picked up this gem on vacation a few years ago on Lake Michigan: gorgeous Cab Franc they made into Port, aged 10 yrs then blended w/blueberry wine. It’s fascinating ... this stuff is deep and mellow w/Tawny aromas of baked cherry spice cake with raisins and walnuts then the blueberry compote comes in. Not cloying or syrupy - just flat out delicious. I always try these types of wines @ tasting rooms to find treasures like this. — 5 years ago
Tabor winery, Israel. Roussanne Adama 2017. Crisp, grapefruit aromas and after taste. Enjoyable — 7 years ago
