Very nice, Smooth, slight oaky, classic americana — 6 years ago
Might be my new favorite. Tastes like concord meets Catawba. — 7 years ago
Tart and acidic. Really tasty! Medium finish. Sweet start, but doesn’t linger. — 7 years ago

Alsatian Americana! Muddled floral, body, limestone, the illustrious cat urine (or Puerto Rican lime-aide?), white flowers. I want a sausage with this. The fig in the photo is from their mtn vineyards. — 9 years ago

20% of wine was allowed malolactic conversion.
12.5 % ABV
green with golden hue 👀
wood driven spices, green 🍎 and peach👃
medium + body.
medium + acidity.
green 🍎, peach and nectarine, lime peel and lemon oil, vanilla, cloves and hinted butter 👄
medium + pleasant 🎯
oomphi but still elegant. great wine making.
i believe the 3 years since vintage rounded it for the best. could wait a year or two for better results.
paired best with white fish basic ceviche but also not too bad with mozzarella (introduced as burrata) salad, rice and rattatuee and 'asian' grilled chicken with beans on the side.
ok-ish basic suburbia restaurant with lovely wine brought from my m8 wine fridge. — 5 years ago
Moving fuel. 42 year old Tempranillo and a uniquely American delicacy to celebrate Independence Day 🧀 🇺🇸 I’m unpacking boxes and listening to the Padres vs Dodgers so other than the wine I’m full throttle Americana today. The Vina Todonia cork dropped in to the bottle immediately upon contact from the Durand so I was not hopeful....but it’s totally intact and it presents with significant bricking in the decanter with expected brown and red tones and is chock full of secondary notes of burnt fig, savory smoke, cigar and soil. Soft tannins and waning acidity but it seems to be putting on “weight” as the afternoon progresses. Another solid showing from this producer at an advanced age. Great stuff. Happy 4th of July to all!! 🍎 ⚾️ 🍷 ☀️ — 7 years ago

Favorite, Cayuga white is a national treasure as a grape. Crisp and mineral. I mean, I get peaches and citrus, lime mostly. This is a delightful wine. All the stars. — 7 years ago
open houses saturday at a local village close by to suburbia.
seeing the wineyard name i thought it was a rose. should've choose ipa craft beer next to the hummus & ful dish.
but we shall deal with life's surprising challenges.
typical bourdoux blend of Cabernet sauvignon and merlot.
it was served from the fridge on this hot day.
cold it was dry red fruit with firm tannins. a bit woody.
warming up elegance and tartness came for a visit.
not too bad.
but for different circumstances. — 7 years ago
Wine Club gathering with 1 white and 3 reds, all tasted blind.
This was firing on all cylinders tonight - I couldn’t have asked for a better presentation. Ever since a random guy sitting next to me at the bar at Pax Americana here in Houston shared this with me I’ve searched and searched for it to buy retail; 2-3 years of searching yielded no results. That is until my wife & I took a trip to Fredericksburg (TX) and stumbled upon a stash of it at Vaudeville. I bought 3 bottles and, after learning tonight how the ‘08 is showing, I wish I had bought the entire stash. Mocha, chewed cigar, eucalyptus, and brooding dark berries. This wine has not only aged gracefully but it’s retained its structure remarkably. Drinking at its peak with many more miles to go yet. — 8 years ago

For a table white & being from Americana Vineyard I found it light and refreshing. I bit expensive but overall a nice wine. — 4 years ago
