Very smooth and juicy, Central Valley Pinot Noir, served at sunset on the porch in Woolwich, ME — 5 months ago
2007 vintage. Opened around 50 degrees. Decanted and kept in the 58-62 degree range with the decanter placed atop an (mostly) ice bath. Tasted after 25 minutes and 4.5 hours. Heavy body. Just enough acidity to slowly propel this effort along all palate phases. Total showstopper. Overlook/dismiss/avoid the SQN whites at your own peril. 2.15.24. — 9 months ago
Cloudy AF. Super sour in a way that matched the tartness and gaminess of a yogurt sauce on lamb meatballs. Ocean spray & hi-c juice. — 4 years ago
Words “Anam Cara” are Celtic for “friend of my soul.” Nick and Sheila have made wines since planting grapes in 2001. Pale lemon with aromatic aromas of ripe tropical, stone & citrus fruits. On the palate tart apple and melon flavors, with a crisp citrus tang. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity with rich ending. Drinking well now. Nice value. — 4 years ago
