Flowers Vineyard & Winery

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2022

Light ruby red color. Ripe red berry and cherry fruit on the nose with additional notes of cola and sweet baking spices. Bright red cherry fruit leads the palate with hints of tobacco, pine and those sweet baking spices. Nice mineral component on the medium-long finish. Fine grained tannins. Fresh and earthy. — 16 days ago

Jordan Vineyard & Winery

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

When I’m not drinking a Napa Cab, I reach for a Jordon. Blend of 80% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot & 2% Malbec, aged 13 months in 100% French oak (35% new). Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruit, floral and an array of herb spices. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and fig with oak, vanilla spice, leather and cacao notes. Rich fine tannins, well balanced and integrated with fruit and oak. Very Nice! Will age well. Just had this with a fillet mignon, Nice! — 7 days ago

Beringer Vineyards

Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Lovely balanced cab from one of my favorite vineyards. It used to be my daily drinker until Beringer doubled the price. Got this one at Costco for $14 and it drinks like a classic $30 Napa Cab. Finished the last glass after bottle was open for 3 days and it was highly enjoyable! great bouquet and long aftertaste. — 18 days ago

Ridge Vineyards

Geyserville Sonoma County Zinfandel Blend 2008

16 years old. Can a Geyserville get silky? Hell ya. Still too fruity and syrupy to be perfect… but… still fruity wow! Happy 4th bbq! — 22 days ago

Williams Selyem

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2020

A blend from several vineyards, including Middle Reach, Green Valley, Santa Rosa Plain, and the Laguna Ridge area. Bright Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of raspberry, cherry and currants with pepper, tea, herbs, vanilla and oak, aged on French oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with spice, ripe fruit and oaky tones. Very Nice! — 24 days ago
