Solid village Nebbiolo, better after opening up. — 4 months ago
This has been the lightest of the vintages I’ve purchased of this cuvée, but it shows bracing acidity and very good length, I believe it’s my last bottle, but will be great with an heirloom tomato and goat cheese for dinner, lovely Seguret Rose!! — 7 months ago
Always so refined, with a beautiful amber color and bold nose of crunchy, ripe yellow fruit. Nose has notes of lemongrass, fennel and lemon rind, and like, moth balls, or something that reminds one of grandma’s house potpourri. Medium to full bodied, with a bold mouthfeel, notes of overripe opal apple, golden fig, latex, hints of pineapple and amber, and a loooong finish that sizzles with energy long after the sip is finished. — a month ago
Needs to breathe. complex. I like it. tannins, but not heavy. — 4 months ago
A wonderful mature and complex nose of cherries , plums , dried leaves and leather. What pleased me the most was the lack of alcohol aromas given the warmth of the vintage . Just as pleasing was the lack of alcohol on the palate. The weight of the wine on the palate I’m sure was the result of the vintage. Cherries, plums and tobacco flavors were in harmony. Tannins lingered. If I had a “nit” it was the lack of great complexity on the palate.. — 6 months ago

It’s been nearly two years since I last enjoyed the 2010 Chianti Classico and the results are consistent with my previous experience. This bottle was double decanted a few hours prior to dinner and enjoyed over the course of dinner. The 2010 Chianti Classico pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with a mix of Montmorency and Balaton cherry, pipe tobacco, red rope licorice, carnations, mushrooms, decomposing forest floor, leather, tomato leaf, and cedar box. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with saline minerals. Drink now through 2040. — 2 months ago
Subtler version of a classic Bordeaux. Great with Regina Bissteca chianina slab of meat. — 4 months ago

Super rich tons of flavor, but a little too syrupy for my taste — 14 days ago
