Still love this wine — 5 months ago
Late release from the winery last year. — 6 months ago
Medium (but translucent) ruby color. Aromas of red and black fruit, lavender, mint, toasted oak and wet gravel. Flavors of red cherries, raspberries and plums, tobacco, black tea and roasted nuts. Hint of wet soil on the long and fresh finish. Plush tannins. Well rounded and intense but with quite the delicate structure. Bright acidity and full bodied and ripe. Excellent! Thank you for opening this one, Keith S! — 7 months ago
Had the 2023 in January of 2025. First sip out of the glass was strange. Kind of sour fruit, butter and wood. Gave it time to breathe and swirled in the glass and then it was really good. Light fruits- dark cherry and blackberry. Hints of wood and leather in the finish. I always tend to jump right in. Have a decanter but don’t always head to it based on other people’s comments, I probably should have! But time in the glass was kind. Was a very interesting wine that I would love to have again. — 2 years ago
2020 vintage, standard Chianti ruby red coloring, decent floral aromas on the nose, cherry and spice on the palette, complete shift in flavor after letting it breath for 30 minutes, it leaves a lingering but pleasant hint of smoke or burnt oak on the finish. — 2 months ago
I mean this wine is so money. Smooth, fruity, Italian rusticity in the best way. Unbelievable — 3 months ago
Superb from Venezia Giulia. Crisp, smooth, green apples, herbs. — 8 months ago
Went over to L&J's house and he just happened to have almost the same chianti as we had last night. But this vintage was fruitier and brighter than the 21. Or at least, fruitier and brighter than what was left of the 21 from last night. — 2 years ago

Chianti Classico tasting 🇮🇹 @ Ai Fiori — 3 months ago
Ruby. Nose of tobacco, smoke, cherry, fresh blackcurrant, violet, earthy. Palate of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, leather, vanilla, clove. Medium + velvet Tannin, medium+ acidity.
Paired with USDA T-bone. It wasn't just a meal; the earthy depth of the wine transformed the mushrooms and steak into a multidimensional experience. It reminded me why I value the art of pairing so much. — 5 months ago
