Light bodied, with a touch of mushroom, tart berry, cran, pom, pom-cran, lemon grass acidity. This is a wild, ever changing wine, every time I taste it.
Last bottle, will have to go back to Chile, and get some more..

Los vinos de Bodega Frontonio, no dejan de impresionarme. Gran trabajo en secano de uva Macabeo (Viura en Rioja) en la zona de Épila, con viñas de 60-65 años. Crianza en cemento durante 6 meses. Vinos que buscan toda la expresión natural de la cepa y el terroir. Color amarillo pálido verdoso. Aromas flores blancas, sobretodo Jazmín, minerales y frutas blancas de hueso. Intensidad media. Boca gustosa, elegante, buena y equilibrada acidez, trago largo, mineral, con recuerdos a suelos calizo-arcillosos. — 6 years ago

Dark ruby with blue hue. Opaque in the center, irony, hibiscus, nutmeg, dusty, ripe banana peel, slightly herbal with savory note. On the palate: ripe raspberry, pomegranate, high tannin, med body, clean and refreshing mouth feel but can feel the alcohol in the throat. Cinnamon, steel, slightly licorice. Med to Med plus acidity. Leave mouth dry. An interesting blend with lots of characters. Tasted a lot better on second day. — 9 years ago
