Pretty darn close to old school Napa. — 8 months ago

Grapes are sourced from all the the best appellations in Napa. From the valley floor to high Hills. Bright cherry flavors combine with elements of cassis and clove. Tannins come on mid palette to the finish.
A lovely Cabernet that drinks well above its price point. Love that.

Consumed 01/2024. Did not have it with any food, just sipped on it by itself. The bottle describes it as bright with complex fruit, subtle spices and silky, refined tannins. 13.9 % ALC by VOL — 3 months ago
Getting better with age. . . Still not an overly complex cab but much more blended tannins that provide a smoothness that covers up the limited flavors. Still have some bottles and look forward to seeing how this is in future years. — 6 months ago

Better than the last bottle I had. Think age helps this but it continues to be a “limited” cab. Nose provides an array of dark berries, some leather, and even hints of bbq. The mid palate and beyond still feels a bit weak and lagging the complexity of the nose - almost a bit watery. Tannins are medium and definitely mellowing. Have to give a shout out to Mark Thomas glasses - the best and bring out so many more flavors! — 8 days ago
