Mill & main. Recommended by Hunter. Smooth crisp. Not buttery not oaky. Waiters John and Candace. And also Dillon. — 8 months ago
Lemon peel, mineral air, lemon oil, the sea.
Oyster shell, subtle lemon oil, minerality.
Very elegant style. Martini-like mouthfeel and texture.
Really lovely expression of Chardonnay especially in stark contrast to California style chards from Sandhi and Matthiasson. Wow, Chablis. I love Chablis. — a year ago
Sandhi Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir 2014: Medium-light body. Soft tannins. Medium acidity. Beautiful light red/cranberry color. Delicate perfumed nose with bright red fruits (cherry, strawberry & raspberry). Orange peel. Dried herbs. Earth. Cedar. Smooth easy finish. All in all, I loved, loved, loved this wine. It was drinking perfectly, beautifully balanced and a great representation of the local Sta Rita Hills terroir; felt like I was drinking a Burgundy wine! One of the best Santa Barbara Pinots out there! Happy Sunday Funday! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
Very unique wine with a slow building flavor. Earthiness, wood, Blackberry, blueberry, red pepper, and a full round mouth. Easy tannins with that slight satisfying effervescence. Beautiful wine — 5 years ago
Caramel, butterscotch, burnt sugar, faint lychee/ripe apple, slight flint on the nose.
Tasted this at Sandhi’s tasting room in Lompoc and fell in love with this taut, flinty, mineral pracific sea breeze driven chard.
Acid remains racy and a pleasurable line of intensity on the palate. Fruit notes of green apple and the freshness of blades of grass are now subtly, beautifully fading into an after-the-rain-like petrichor that is lovely.
A flintiness handshakes a butteriness in terms of front texture and finish, lingering for a while. Secondary and tertiary notes of age are alive and brimming. Almondy.
Good. Great. Some more please. — 3 months ago

Very much in the style of the Sandhi wines from Santa Barbara. Touch of flint, matchstick, lemon pie and cream. #oregon #chardonnay #eolaamityhills — 5 years ago
Textural. Definitely some skin contact but just a bit. Really shines as it warms and opens up. Last glass was the best. Very good. — 3 months ago

Complex Chardonnay. A blend of minerality, sea air, and mild tropical fruits. Very interesting and enjoyable! — 2 years ago
@Delectablewine This is RPWC’s Romance Chardonnay. Made from the first vintage of new plantings at Domaine de la Cote. In the Sandhi style. Light in color. Intensely lemon/lime, wet limestone, sea air. Assertive acid, especially up front, but balanced with a nice creamy roundness. — 4 years ago
Fooled me for a white burgundy. What a delight. — 5 years ago
