Closed, cool, with muted power. Dark berry & cherry. Quite a tannic frame but juicy & polished, not aggressive as Becker’s Kammerberg.

Herby fresh & mineral.
Linear, steely, firm on the palate - with a splash of green apple juice and herby characters. Plus the rocky minerality and a saline finish. So food friendly. — 3 years ago

Medium light ruby , wide quite watery garnet rim . Rose with spiced red currant , earthy , fresh herbal notes . On the palate really nice , red currant, strawberry , raspberry . Fresh acidity and quite light tannins , good length . Quite linear and elegant , fresh and pretty. Drink now and over the next 5-8 years in magnum — 4 months ago

A darker Pinot with a bit more punch. Needs to breath a bit and then shows dark cherry with a raspberry whiff, a hint of kirsch, some nicely integrated spice woody aromas. Enticing.
On the palate this is so smooth, velvety, with a nice round mouthfeel and so fine tannins. Impeccably balanced and is drinking so nicely right now.
