Cherries and bright, purplish red fruit, herbal elixir and white pepper on the nose. Completely transparent, its sweetness paired with a subtly bitter herbal finish, and intense minerality. Haven’t had this wine for several years but I feel Pigato had a moment in NYC back in 2016/2017 along with Rossese. Salty and sea breezy. Nice minerality. Not intensely powerful or searing like a chablis, but quite nice. — 2 years ago
