Medium bodied, red fruits, red plum, waxy, floral and spicy. Very good. Great with chicken wings. New variety and region. — a month ago

Punta Crena

Vigneto Isasco Riviera Ligure di Ponente Rossese 2011

2016 on Dec 16, 2018 with pan roasted chicken and vegetables at BBR during pre-Christmas trip. What a revelation and introduction to yet another Local Italian grape that speaks of place. Grown on a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean. Purchased at Park Avenue Wines and imported by Kermit. — 3 months ago

Angé Rossese di Dolceacqua 2017

Very good red, hints of plum with a bright refreshing mineral finish. This wine works great as your house/ table wine. Great value! — 4 months ago

Cinque Terre White Blend 2017

High acidity, a little heady but very lovely natural vibes. 70% Bosco, 10% Rossese Bianco, 10% Picabon, 10% Albarola — 3 months ago

Terre Bianche

Dolceacqua Rossese 2014

In a great spot right now. A medium-weight, lifted and delicate wine in this vintage; has the usual cranberry, tomato water, savory elements...but open and feminine. Always a fascinating drink. #rossese #liguria #terrebianche — 4 months ago

Rossese di Dolceacqua

2017 is delightfully light and fruit forward, a hedonistic Beaujolais feel. Liguria delivers fruit and balance in Rossese, and Maccario ticks all the right boxes for my taste buds. — 2 months ago

Cascina Feipu dei Massaretti

Riviera Ligure di Ponente Rossese

Simply perfect pairing with spaghetti and sardines. Light as a daisy, and awash with mustard seeds/pomegranate/sagebrush. Debatably not worth $18 but a darn sight less expensive than the airfare to Genoa. (The most interesting red wine I've tasted this year. 2016 vintage.) — 4 months ago

Testalonga (Antonio Perrino)

Vigneti d'Arcagna Rossese di Dolceacqua

Nice magenta, super clean slight jam, good acid slight tannin, strawberry def a natural yeast and ending grip — 6 months ago
