Really well aged and balanced mineralogy. Dark berries and low tannin, but not thin. Really needs to breathe — 7 days ago
Still a great vintage and could have many more years to go. — 15 days ago
Come on….nothing but sheer pleasure with this bottle. — 15 days ago
Very nice, with some tannins. Probably would be better in a few years. — 2 days ago
Lovely. Beautiful deep aromas on the nose. Eucalyptus and brambly blue fruit. Some menthal. Velvety and rustic at the same time. Fan — a month ago
One of my favorite cabs. Wonderfully balanced complexity, silky mouth feel, a bit chewy with a delightful finish. Put it up for a couple of years if you can wait. — 21 days ago
Nice tertiary notes of mushroom and forest floor. Fruit is still present albeit somewhat muted. Enjoyable but not the very best from the climat. — 7 days ago
Lovely wine at Alston. Somm recommended it as being between littorai and sea smoke. Elegant with nice fruit and hint of violets, light — 10 days ago

Double decant for sediment and pour. A remarkable still dark purplish garnet with bricking. On the nose: still captivating areomatics of stewed red fruit, worn leather, herbaceous, pencil shavings, eucalyptus, cigar wrapper, funky earth. Taste: silky, soft, savory, mature wine with just a hint of blackberry, currants, earth, dried herbs, mocha, and a smokey pepper/tobacco medium finish. Sure, on the downside, but if you like savory aged Napa cab this still works tonight. — 13 days ago
