Ripe, rich dark purple juicy juice. These wines need a couple years to lose their baby fat and integrate the alcohols, tannins, and abundant fruit. But California Zin rarely drinks better. Ripe blackberry, black cherry, hints of stem, touch of oak masquerading as tobacco and leather. Long, smooth finish. Only a handful of California winemakers approach this level. Coming together. Still a little tart. Cranberry, strawberry, Nice although lacks a little bit depth i typically like. — 6 months ago
Still got ripping acidity, great green apple and some mandarin orange, ends with a rockin marcona almond finish. My kinda finish. I finished is what I’m saying. — 9 months ago
