Coteaux Bourguignons 'Correaux' Vieilles Vignes 2015

It’s always the last bottle that seems to be the best. This is a gamay and Pinot Noir blend from a producer that makes incredible Burgundy like Chardonnay. Red fruits, acid medium plus, underbrush & wild berries on nose. With the age much tartness has been replaced by depth. Somehow has a stateliness about it- nothing rustic here. Just yum. — 6 months ago

Mâcon-Villages Chardonnay 2016

Beautifully balanced fruit, acidity and (subtle) oak. Melon, peach pineapple and citrus flavours, good length and a soft finish. A style that a few new world producers could learn from. Will buy this again. — 2 years ago

Vin Jaune Côtes du Jura Savagnin 2014

This needs air! But after 20 minutes in the glass, this spicy savagnin kicks it up a notch and becomes both rich (on the nose) and balanced, with great acidity. However, despite the typicity the grape, I do find that it lacks a clear sense of terroir - perhaps it could be even more idiosyncratic? — 5 years ago
