Interesting. Garnet with plum, thyme and tobacco on the nose. Full mouthfeel with a light acidity, sweetness with dates. Medium tannins. Very nice with lamb and halloumi. Not tannic enough for high fat meats — 5 years ago
Aroma of black currant, blackberry cobbler, smoke, tar, dates and caramel. Very mild fruit at the forefront of the palate with a long profile and pencil lead on the finish, and cedar. Amazing for a young cab- complex and smooth — 5 years ago
Heavy blackberry cobbler initially and then espresso and baking spices. Grippy but then mellows with a fatty meal like ribeye. Really great food wine and improves as it aerates — 5 years ago
