Really nice bottle tonight. Feminine and seductive. Alluring nose of Rose petals, cherry, peat. Med weight, well balanced fruit/acid , a hint of allspice. Just a fine bottle of Willamette Valley Pinot. A winery to seek out for sure.

This disappointed me for all the hype. Simply not as complex or nuanced as I expected. Have some more and look forward to giving other bottles a shot.

Tart cherries, rose water, juicy cranberry, and raspberry jump out of your glass. Sweet cola nuts, fresh tea leaves, violet, and lip smacking acidity —- it hits all the spots of an enjoyable Oregon Pinot for me..

I really like this. Amazing fruit with funk, hint of cocoa, cherries, some earthy/wood-like flavors. Finish lasts for minutes. Definitely needs air.

Spicy slightly plummy nose. Quite earthy in the glass - tart - very much in line with previous wines from the winery. 13.5%. You can taste the dirt in this one. More spice than fruit - Dusty orange zest, hint cherry, chalk, allspice. Will be quite elegant although a little rough right now. It will be interesting to follow the evolution of this wine. In my opinion better than the 16 (a hot year hyped by many). A masterpiece for the money.

Atypical of our familiarity with Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs. Peppery on the front end with a metallic/mineral tinge. Bit of gaminess and leather, with hints of sour cherry (emphasis on the sour). Dry finish on the palette. Notes and mouth feel are well balanced, but missing the white flower headlines of our preferred Pinot Noirs.

Needs a couple hours of air, but turns into a very light, easy drinking Pinot.

I prefer this 17 over the more expensive Yamhill 16. Raspberry, tea-notes, licorice and prune plum. Fine and elegant. Fruit driven classic. But still I love their wines.
