The lesson I’ve learned with Rev: wait. Two or three years turns a sour grape into something stunning. Lush, smooth, a little subtle soil and dark berry compote, hold the sugar. Just a winter dream in a bottle. — 3 years ago

A bit more structured and serious than the median Chianti Classico. Nose takes a while to rev up but then shows bright ripe and slightly sour cherry, loads of minerality, and a fresh, almost floral note. Lean and vertical in the mouth, it’s got nice structure which the fruit is currently hiding behind. But you can tell that with a bit more time it will round out. Very nice. — a year ago
