The blend pours up to a medium-dark garnet color. Aromas of cassis, tobacco and spice are up front on the nose, with a hint of bell pepper in the background. The fruit is juicy on the palate, with jammy black and red berries and a stout set of tannins. This wine was made for steak, the bigger the better. — 6 days ago
— 21 hours ago
This is 60-40 Cab and Syrah. Dark rusty, red. Smells like leather, red licorice, humid humus, and water plants. Flavors are big, smoky and pronounced. Black licorice, tobacco (cigars and pipes), and black cherry juice. This is a big, dense wine that hasn’t softened up much even though it’s almost 10 years on. Nice combo though of the unheard of Cab-Syrah mix. Got another bottle. Maybe age it another 10 years and see how it preforms. — a month ago
This wine looks medium-dark in the glass, a deep ruby color. The nose is rather rustic, especially for a Cab. That quality could possibly be due to a limited time in oak, for a Cabernet, only 8 months. There is currant in there, along with bramble and a strong minerality. The palate is on the rough’n’tumble side, with dark berry flavors and earthiness showing. The finish lingers and brings the savory side back for a revisit. — 14 days ago
Excelente custo-benefício para este Pinot Noir que tem corpo fácil e saída de boca agradável. — 21 hours ago
Decanted 3 hrs prior to tasting.
Aromas - medium intensity green pepper and quince, red plum, dark cherry, currant, slight damp earth. Savory and stony mineral notes emerge over time.
Palate - medium bodied, medium+ acid and ripe medium tannins. Ripe fruit and mineral across an expansive yet weightless mid palate and a medium + length mineral driven finish.
The structure and complexity are here to allow for aging and I feel this will be better in 4-6 years.
The group favorite in tonight's wine tasting, paired with Ribeyes. All 3 wines were very enjoyable. — a month ago
A nose of blackberry hand pie -
Dark berry, slate, saline, cherry stone, underlined coffee tones, tamarindo, swisher sweet tabaco, and crazy sour patch kid acidity,
Such a crazy wine - so good!
