Drinking so well now. Nose is mid season cherry and ripe. Some lovely earthy notes and cola notes. Spice and underbrush as well. Palate is concentrated, juicy and teeming with energy but also has great opulence and finishes super mineral. Engaging wine and superb stony finish. — a month ago
Nice but not overly remarkable. Don’t have a ton of experience with Pommard. This is quite fleshy and even slightly rustic perhaps. The tannins are certainly quite present. Not giving as much aromatically as one might hope. Still very well balanced and a nice finish. — 3 months ago
Ridiculous nose. Unreal clarity of dark cherry fruit and crazy cherry skins. Insane depth and top notch aromatic purity. Insane florals and spice. Nose is a 9.6 on the PNP. Some earthy funk as well and just a shockingly great nose. Palate is ripe, energetic and rich with insane sap and purity and awesome balance. Just a breathtaking wine that floats on the palate and has that extra special Burgundy thing that we all chase after. Insanely great. As this airs the class, finesse and refinement start to show and the fine powdery tannins. — 6 months ago
Great nose of spice dark red cherries, some plum and a meatiness. Decaying. leaves and huge minerals. Expansive. Palate has that extraordinary Rebourgeon fruit wrapped in silk. Gorgeous finesse here. Long and juicy. Black and red cherries galore. So well made. — a month ago
Nose: freshly cut flowers. Cherry flowers. Violets. Hand crushed early midseason cherries. Magnificent. As this opens some swirling spice. Terrific amplitude.
Palate: man. What amazingly fresh cherry juice. Utterly delicious. Some spice. So fresh.

Wow. This tastes just like … a Bourgogne rouge made by William whitehead. What a coincidence.
You get that succulent sexy fruit without as much of the complexity of the better terroir. Which is what you want some nights.
Nose: earth sexy cherries. Hints of cherry liquor.
Palate: full on mid to late season cherry. Cherry liquor. Hints of cherry licorice.

Nose is buttery and rich with stunning clarity. Lime zest, minerals and some dried soil tones as well. Palate is nervy and tense with tons of saline and green apple. Very juicy and delineated. Really precise stuff. Terrific acids and lovely mineral wash on the finish. Great wine. — 13 days ago
