Bright Ruby red with aromas of fresh red fruits with sweet spice notes, aged for 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and red plum with vanilla, oak and cacao notes. Fine tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, oak, pepper earthy character. Nice Value! — 4 years ago
2020 fall. Similar to other recent bottles. Really nice wine for a fair price - I’ll be looking for some more — 6 years ago
One of my favorite small production wine, 300 cases. Cal Nicholson spent his youth in So. CA & after a long marketing career he hung up his spurs to follow his 2 real interests in life – surfing & wine making. Jones is the maiden name of Cal’s wife Pam. A wonderful wine. Aromas of lemon citrus with herb, stone & tropical fruits. Palate, peach, Granny Smith apple & ripe melon flavors with lively citrus zest wrapped in lbalanced acidity. Lingering finish ending with mineral citrus finish. Consistent! Nice! — 7 years ago
It's real nice. Fruity with hints of butter feet. — 7 years ago
Superb wine! More powerful than the Gran Reserva ‘10. Great nose of red fruits, woodsmoke, spices, forestfloor, milkchocolate and coconut. Fully integrated fruit in the mouth with velvety tannins and al lot of depth and great length. Very juicy wine and a nice surprise! — 7 years ago
A really nice red blend. A great "go to" especially as the weather warms. Nice for grilled meats outdoors or charcuterie. It's an unusual blend with real depth. — 4 months ago
Nice drinking wine - good tannins but smooth. Robust but not overwhelming. Lights oak. — 5 years ago
A real winner. Tried 3 bottles, all were consistently great! Located in the western end of Dopp Road where the Chehalem Mountains converge with Ribbon Ridge, medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits and enticing spice. On the palate ripe raspberry and wild cherry with pepper, baking spice and earthy notes. Young with integrated tannins, well defined, elegant with underlying richness, long finish ending with flinty notes. Nice value! Tried several bottles, now starting to develop more complex spice. — 6 years ago
I don’t often drink Aperol Spritzes (OK, that’s a blatant lie) but when I do I prefer Gosset. Actually, Bisol is killer for an Aperol Spritz. This wasn’t real creamy but it was very nice. Citrus, a little tart, lovely. — 7 years ago
Nice and fresh. Still, tannins. — 7 years ago
Nice tannins fruity. Cherry cedar — 8 years ago
Very nice magnum, slightly toasted and nutty notes but barely, rich and full palate, still good enough acidity, some salinity as well, nice balance, gorgeous. This domaine did real well with the 205’s.
Magnifique magnum, des notes un peu fumés et noisettés très légèrement, riche et gras avec une belle acidité qui donne de la structure et de l’équilibre. 90-91 — 5 years ago
Loved it, nice body and complex flavor — 7 years ago
A real find from Argentina, fermented 50% in cement, aged for 12 months in used French oak. Light red with purple edges, aromas of fresh red berry fruits and notes of floral spice. On the palate cherry with a touch of raspberry flavors adding in fresh spices, soft integrated tannins giving a great balance. Lingering finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice delicate Pinot! — 7 years ago

Very nice white. Always enjoy it and decided to buy a few to have on hand. Crisp and delicious with real salinity and depth. Bit of confectionary quality. — 3 months ago
