Excellent clarity, moderate pigment extraction, ruby red with purple tinge. Raspberry and white pepper aromas, raspberry, white pepper and black tea flavors, as promised on back label. Lots of loose seedy tannins on finish with a kids’ grape fruit juice aftertaste. Needs time to open. After an hour, tart, moderate astringency. After three hours, the raspberry and white pepper flavors were fully resolved, but the skin tannins were still largely expressive with all their astringency. Decant even longer! — 4 months ago
Wow, very impressed. Just shy of 20 years old. A Washington state cab. Tannins and fruits were still in harmony. Drank with my good friend Jim and my family. A nice surprise treat from the cellar — 10 months ago

Light but full flavor. Higher acid than tannin but very good. — 2 months ago

Good fruit, strawberry, touch of lemon, peach and cream (?), good acid but not at all tart, honeydew, citric and malic notes on finish. Dry but not bone dry. Complex but missing savory and mineral notes from previous vintages, oh well, drinkable enough why wish for the moon? — 7 months ago
