Pear, applesauce, lemon candy, ripe peaches, firecrackers, hint of white pepper on the nose. Nice creamy mouthfeel with pear, golden plum, candied lemon peel, powdered ginger on the palate. Gewurztraminer on steroids - rich, ripe and elegant with a pronounced bouquet of lychee, honey, candies lemon, rose petal, ginger and smoke. This verges on medium sweet with 33g/l RS and is full bodied with 14.5%abv. Powerful with enough stony minerality to stay clean rather than cloying on the exceedingly long finish.
