Martín Códax

Rías Baixas Albariño 2016

Green apples and citrus on the nose. Well balanced citrus and and slate that lingers on the palate but not too dry or acidic. Great value Albariño. Try instead of pairing with a sauvignon blanc. I’ve only had a few of this variety but I really like how it pairs with food when you can’t decide between a Chardonnay or a Sauvignon Blanc. — 7 days ago

Quinta de Couselo

Turonia Rías Baixas Albariño

Beautiful Albariño. Floral with notes of peach and light salinity — 3 days ago

Do Ferreiro

Rías Baixas Albariño 2015

Nice, crisp, and Albariño-y. Pale lemon color, intense citrus nose, quite lean but precise, unripe apple and good lemon on the palate. Lots of acid and a nice finish. — 17 days ago

Rías Baixas Albariño 2014

Best albarino I’ve had. It is super salty with leesy creaminess and albarino tropical fruit coming through. Great texture, but makes me wonder how good can Albariño be? Maybe it’s just me — 7 days ago

Pazo Cilleiro

Rias Baixas Albariño 2017

Saline, peach fuzz, and minerality. High acid with phenolic bitterness. The absence of malolactic is noticeable as the acid drives on the finish. Lemon rind tartness. — 6 days ago

Legado del Condo

Rias Baixas Albariño

I love an Alberino. If you don’t like it you don’t understand white wine. #cheers — 17 days ago

Surprised me, little but too high on the acid but still a good buy. — 5 days ago
