Purity. Clarity. Freshness.
A strikingly pretty clear straw color in the glass with intense perlage. The nose opens seductively with aromas of tropical fruits and lemons. Sweet pastries and pears accentuate. There’s a bit of soft vanilla here as well, for good measure.
Pur Oger. Pur Chardonnay. Plenty of tension and character. Appropriately terroir driven and complex, even at this youthful stage. The acidity is electric without being overpowering. Approachable and inviting, there’s a serenity to this wine.
Round and gorgeous on the attack. Very nice minerality and balance here. Very clean and precise in the mouth. Notes of vanilla brioche, grapefruit, and yellow apples. Beautifully pure chalk and wet limestone for days. The finish is long and saline. This is drinking very well right now but give it a few years and it’ll be a showstopper. — 5 months ago

Nice and smooth. From my Miho (Noble Rot). — 4 months ago
Gorgeous nose of sweet greens, minerals, sweet melon, white flowers and some white cherries. Such a clear and classic nose from this corner of Franken. Palate is crunchy with huge acidity and delicious, palate slathering minerals. Juicy with wonderful purity and freshness. Terrific mouthfeel and awesome mineral, crunchy texture and that licking a rock feeling that elite German riesling has. Great grip and concentration and a delicate tannic structure. A triumph. — 5 months ago

Nose: sweet roses.
Palate: delicious. Long. Really good. Perfect fruit. Nice balancing minerality . Some brioche as this opens. Pleasant hint of bitterness.
Terrific change of pace wine. Had with cucumber salad and pastrami salmon and a side of celery with blue cheese sauce.
