A well made version of vermentino.

Nose is aromatic lemon extract. Very fresh and clean. Very Italian. Some richness as it opens.

Palate is nicely mineral and balanced. Light gods lemon soda. Very sprightly on the palate. A hint of lemon pith. Richer as it opens. Great acidic balance.

Something in new wants to try this in 7 years for some reason.

Would be awesome with crudo.

It’s one of those wines that is an incredibly great version of what it’s supposed to be.

Winery founded in 73, still unsure if this was made at Produttori, who released their own 67 Cru Martinenga or if made at Marchesi di Gresy without commercial release 🤷🏻‍♂️ This seemed much different than the 67 Produttori I had tried, it had some strong cedar notes and was ashy. Taste was delicious, made up for a difficult nose. Was hoping for more, but still a great 👍🏽 — 7 years ago
