Réserve Brut Champagne Blend

Smells like seawater and raw egg — saline!

Light, crisp, lemon, seawater. A little bread crust on the back end if you look for it. Good and elegant — but tastes more like a good cremant than what I expect from champagne. 90.

@Rob Brobst III ? I liked it. If it helps, I score on an absolute scale and don’t really consider style or price.

Révélation Vin de Pays d'Oc Chardonnay 2023

This sub $10 Trader Joe’s treasure really shines. The butter is restrained and balanced, also has a bright acidity. Notes of citrus on the nose and caramel, vanilla and butterscotch on the palate. Great delightful wine to pair with spicy food. — 14 days ago

As Tom Cassagrande said, spot on Burgundy white. Lemon oil, wet stone, slightly closed/reduced and showing a bit more character on day 2, this is what I remember Bougogne balance of the late 90's and early 2000's to taste like. — 4 years ago
