2019 vintage. Oak attack if served above 65 degrees. Def essential to get that temp down to the 55-64 range so as to conduct pleasant conversation. Otherwise, it’s just screaming/noise. Previous vintage exhibited the same tendency whereas 2017 and before generally didn’t (to this extreme). Hoping it’s not trending that direction but suspect it is. 前回同様に、黄桃や枇杷のような黄色果実に、カモミール、ペトロール、ライムストーン、ホワイトペッパーなどの後に、岩清水、レモンなどの爽やかな清涼感と芯のある骨格。

A testament to what a great producer can do in a less than stellar vintage. Medium garnet color with a small ruby core and slight brick rim. Aromas of macerated red fruit, dried herbs and wood smoke. Flavors of dark cherries, dried tarragon, basil and sage, and smoky vanilla. Touch of minerality on the long and lingering finish with ample acidity. Extremely savory and complex. In its prime.
