Gold hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, apricot, bell pepper, lemon, and petrol, with a hint of grass and creamy notes. Medium body with medium-plus acidity. Silky and rounded mouthfeel. Complex bouquet. Elegant and balanced, with a lasting finish. — 2 years ago

2017 vintage. Last tasted 01.27.25 (9.2). Good primer/introductory Barolo for those unfamiliar/scared. Some fruit. More structure but never too much as to force the villagers to flee. Excellent, crushable Barolo now (and for the next half-decade) and the price comes in on the weekday train vs the weekend edition. 05.14.25. — 7 months ago
Love it! Juicy AF. Minerally. Good with spicy shakshouka. I'd keep a bottle of this on hand all the time. — 3 years ago
Are all of Massa’s timorasso made oxidative? Distinctive just unsure it’s my thing. — 4 months ago
Not sure where I am at with Timorasso but this wine had a lot going on. Fascinating aromatics and crisp and lively on the palate. — 7 months ago

Barbera done right, despite the 14.5% abv (yikes)- farmers wine that has more elegance than most. Jet blue black color, wild blackberries, black cherry compote, with a firm but biting palate—air, as always, yolks the substantial palate together. — 11 days ago
