Wow. Wonderful wine. Crunchy minerals, invitingly textural, and super sapid acidity with just a hint of electric effervescence. Developing into a multilayered joy machine. Japanese nashi pear & shiro momo joining the flavor festival. Indigenous Carricante grape representing the majority of the blend with Grecanico, aka Garganega of Soave, rounding it out. Delightful juice. — 11 days ago
Nose. Is like plum flower gorgeous. Wow. Complex. Spice flower. Knife edge. Jam your nose in a flower good. Old skool Volnayish. A field of intense lilacs at peak season.
Palate is fresh early season wild blackberries. Masterful. Sweet fruit. Wow. Internal aromatics are like inhaling a Flower garden. Such freshness. Cru Beaujolais from different grapes made by god. Internal aromatics are godlike. Sick texture.
As you swallow just insane. So fresh. Wild berries. Wild aromatics.
Long finish. Adheres to the palate. Great fresh acidity. So fresh on the finish. Succulent. Salivatory.
Contained density the allows the wine to have nuance. — 17 hours ago
Nose is gorgeous Bordeaux. A hint of spice. Sexy almost slutty roses. Liquid sex. Halfway between Audrey and Marilyn
Palate is perfect Napa cab if it were. Raspberry. Some Tobacco. Perfect. Gods spice. So good. So not what we normally sell. Napa cab by a genius. Gorgeous sweet fruit. Gods raspberry liquor^3.
Finish is beautiful fruit just past the knife edge of ripeness so you Taste what the fruit is and not the heaviness or Sweetness — 17 hours ago
Liked this wine so much, had to get another bottle, just great, consistent quality. Vines grown in deep volcanic ash. Pale Ruby with aromas of fresh red fruits and slight smoky tobacco notes. On the palate juicy sour cherry and strawberry with slight fennel spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins, rich finish ending with fruit, mineral, sweet spice and smoky meaty notes. Outstanding! — 6 days ago
An outstanding Italian white, I just had to taste again. 100% Carricante grown in deep volcanic soil, aged in French oak for 10 months . Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice, consistent quality. — 6 days ago
Incredibly deep ruby in color, this Rosato displays ripe cherries, offset by tangerine, rose petals, and exotic spice. Soft textures lead in to a pure expression of floral-laced red fruits and minerals, finishing fresh but also showing a youthful structure. This is really quite stunning. $23.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, July 2020) — 3 days ago
