Blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv & Petit Verdot, aged 18 months, new French oak, celebrates the wine's 20th anniversary. Dark Ruby red color with aromas of dark fruits, cigar box and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum with tobacco and leather spice. Fine firm chewy tannins, long finish ending with tobacco, fruit and mineral spice character. Nice! Affinity Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Found a bottle, aging nicely. A blend of 76% Cab Sauv, 8% Cab Franc, 7% Merlot, 5% Malbec & 4% Petit Verdot, 18 months in 60% new French oak, deep Ruby, purple edges, with aromas of berry fruit, sweet herb and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, ripe blackberry and currants with notes of cacao and sweet herbs. Long finish, grippy ripe tannins ending with graphite and earthy mineral. Drink now & over next few years, I still have a few bottles in cellar! — 8 months ago

Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 1997

1997 vintage. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc. The most humble of the Domaines Delon stable ( Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis, Nénin) is showing incredibly well at 27 years old. Showing its age more in the nose than in the taste, but actually improving with decanting ( thanks broken cork!). Still good fruit, with refreshing acidity and a good grip of soft tannin. Very good length too. Still worth seeking out from a well-stored bottle. — 2 months ago


Ribera Del Duero Tempranillo 2017

Deep Ruby Ribera del Duero from vines mostly up to 80-years old, (blended with amount of younger vine fruit), aged for 18 months in predominately French oak (20% new), aromas of complex fragrant fruit, spice and oak. On the palate ripe cherry and blackberry fruits, powerful yet elegant, with herb spice & smoky oak notes on full soft tannins. Long finish, nice mouthfeel, ending with spice and mineral earthy tones, a joy to Sip this Fine Wine. Aging well, great now! — 7 months ago

A blend of 65% Cab Sauv and 35% Merlot, aged for 18 months, 50% new oak. Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of black fruit, cigar box and earthy floral aromas. On the palate blackberry, cherry, currant and plum flavors with cacao, tobacco and oak notes. Fine tannins, long finish, good balance ending with fruit, savory earthy herbs and toasty cedar nots.
