Super interesting. Not as acidic and complex. Beautiful on the nose. Straddling between orange and white. — 3 months ago
golden yellow , copper tinge . Quite open exuberant nose , orange rind , honeysuckle, saffron , ginger , marmalade . Intense marmalade , orange peel on the palate , quite rich and intense but well balanced by high acidity. Long balanced , zesty intense finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years . — a month ago
Orange , onion skin in colour. Orange rind , spices, vanilla, roasted nuts, seaside hints . On the palate intense and with high acidity , lemon and orange rind, caramel hints . Long and complex on the finish , very balanced. I would imagine this is in its drinking window , and will continue to drink well for a further 5-8 years — 23 days ago
*Color isn’t quite as dark as the picture shows*
Followed over a few days. Consistent profile.
From 375ml
Advanced caramel color with a tinge of orange. Thankfully, aromatics are as expected with orange marmalade, caramel and toffee. Viscous and weighty profile with low acidity. Faint notes of honey roasted nuts on the palate, but it’s mostly an orange marmalade, caramel and apricot dominated profile. Finish shows good length for what is considered an off-vintage, with the apricot and some bourbon vanilla. Good on its own. Drink now. — a day ago
Always a hit!
Medium straw color, small delicate bubbles. Aromas of citrus, apricot, eucalyptus and orange blossoms.
