Freestone-Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2017

Medium Ruby with rich sweet red fruit aromas and herb spice notes on on this beauty from Steve Kistler. On the palate a rich full flavor of blackberry and cherry with cinnamon spice, oak and fine tannins. Crisp acidity, good balance, long ending with slight earthy character. Very Nice! Tasting well, enjoy over next decade! — 6 months ago

Occidental SWK Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

Not a great pic...forgot to take it and had to have the waiter get it out trash. 😬

Musty and herbaceous on the nose. This subsided after time. The wine drank beautifully. Medium bodied with spice box,
black cherry, forest floor and a hint of cola on the finish.

Cola, mineral, light cherry overtones. Delicious. Ready to go after 5 years, could go a little longer. Label: Occidental SWK Vineyard 2012 14.1% ABV. # S01079 — 3 years ago

Cuvée Elizabeth Occidental Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

This is one of the great news start up on the Sonoma Coast. Steve Kistler has really elevated his game! Dark red cherry, cinnamon, and an herbal note. Endless finish but still very young. — a month ago

Ceritas

Occidental Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2016

This was really something. From vines planted by Steve Kistler 30 years ago in northern Sonoma coast and near some other heavy hitting sites. Manages the neat trick of intensity without heaviness. Redolent of small berries and ocean breeze, bursting with black cherry, strawberry and rhubarb, dried flowers and spice with a whole cluster herbal quality. Was a little afraid I’d jumped the gun but nah this is ready — 4 months ago

Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2014

Garnet in the glass with cherries, orange rind, and licorice on the nose - the palate delivers gobs of red fruit and is quite viscous for a Pinot - this was really lovely. — 2 years ago
