Cola, mineral, light cherry overtones. Delicious. Ready to go after 5 years, could go a little longer. Label: Occidental SWK Vineyard 2012 14.1% ABV. # S01079 — 8 years ago
This was really something. From vines planted by Steve Kistler 30 years ago in northern Sonoma coast and near some other heavy hitting sites. Manages the neat trick of intensity without heaviness. Redolent of small berries and ocean breeze, bursting with black cherry, strawberry and rhubarb, dried flowers and spice with a whole cluster herbal quality. Was a little afraid I’d jumped the gun but nah this is ready — 5 years ago

Luxurious wine. Heady and long. Lots of complexity and a unique personality. Top notch producer. — 21 days ago
