RIP Auguste Clape Needed about an hour in the decanter to open up but eventually showed beautiful notes of violets, chalk, blue fruit and spice. Still young and should age very gracefully. — 6 years ago

Gorgeous complex nose jumping out of the glass with notes of cassis, violets, herbs and baking spices. Silky broad tannins and plush dark fruit. Certainly enjoyable now but will reward some patience. — 6 years ago
