Soft easy drinking...not very complex but nice — 4 years ago
Oak aromas are more restrained and integrated in this Henk Vyd, fruit is a tad richer and deeper, but this also shows an excellent balancing acidity, rich fruit, long, lingering finish, I marginally prefer this to the Willowlake, but both are excellent Yarra Valley Chardonnays!! — 25 days ago
Lusatia Park is not a Cuvée used every year by Giant Steps. Oakridge make a good Chardonnay from there. This Pinot had a tawny edge to the mid Ruby Red in colour. Sweet red cherry and red fruits in general with whole bunch influence and great persistence of flavour. — 2 years ago
A little flinty sulphidic note amongst the ripe grapefruit on the nose. From the well performed Willowlake Vineyard where other producers like Giant Steps and Oakridge have made excellent Chardonnay. This Rodda Chardonnay is also excellent with great QPR at only $35. Great intensity with white stone fruit and lively crisp acid. Rodda makes at least 2 other Chardonnay Cuvées at the same price, that should be annual purchases. — 7 months ago
Almost identical in profile to Giant Steps. Strawberries and cream on the palate. Smooth with just enough spice and acid to give interest. Not great p/q — 3 years ago
Very smooth and delicious — 4 years ago

Visited the winery several years back. As good as their PN and Chard are, this is the bottle I brought home.
Deep crimson with a lifted bouquet of blackcurrant, red cherry, graphite, and cedar. Medium body with great texture, the depth and the purity of the fruits on the palate is really impressive. Fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity drive a long, elegant finish. Masterful in precision, structure, and refinement. — a day ago
