Beautiful old Cabernet! Dark red in color, bright fruit, beautiful old Cabernet. Wild mushrooms a forest floor with bright bing cherries. — 5 years ago
This is the Malbec from Howell mountain, small production and super cool wine.
Wild blue and black fruits come through with a touch of gaminess to begin with. Has a bit of acidity but it’s medium bodied and hangs pretty well.
Overall - lovely and delicious wine. Nice change of pace. — 3 months ago
Still has life. Good tertiary smoke. — 2 years ago
Brilliant straw-yellow. Fresh citrus and orchard fruit aromas, along with hints of toasty lees and honeysuckle. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering juicy pear and Meyer lemon flavors that slowly deepen through the midpalate. Finishes long and floral, with a lingering hint of spiciness. Napa rendition here. Blend of oakville, Howell mtn, and mt veeder. More lush and fruity than mtn single vineyards. Plum and some tartness before the structure hits you. This is a very pleasant wine and has a softness to it that makes it easy drinking without being jammy. 30 mins of air helps blow off jam. — 6 months ago

Big, bold, lots of dark stewed fruit with subtle, popping tannins. Incredible. — 2 months ago
