Tim Mondavi’s master piece! This is my 2014 Continuum. One word: FANTABULOUS! Sage mountain vineyard in 2014 was incredible for cabernet! This is the best cab Ive had all year! Who says you dont always get what you pay for? 225 dollars of pure ecstasy in a glass! Wow. Fig newton dipped in grape jelly on the nose. Dark berries fill the palate followed by black pepper and dark chocolate . It is as velvety smooth as it gets. The oak and tree moss come through on the finish with a slight tingle on the corners of the lips and cheeks. The finish is dry and lingers with even more complexity! Cigar box, mineral rich soil, Black licorice, and grape jelly again! Goodness. I have been waiting on this one for a long time and I am so glad it is as good as I thought it would be. I just wish I had someone to share it with!!! — 3 years ago

Outrageously good and ready to drink now (late 2024) and still has time. Dark ruby color with a bounty of aromas that blast out of the glass. Earth and fruit. Dark chocolate, eucalyptus, vanilla bean, oak and lots of baking spices bleed together with rich cassis, blackberries, and dark cherries. It’s not super tight, well integrated tannins and strong but not overbearing acid structure. It is a big wine but not overwhelmingly so. — 6 months ago

Going to need to hold these for a few more years, the 2019 still needs some time.
Graphite dominates the palate. Lots of tobacco and vanilla too. The fruit just isn’t there. Tannins are super strong, lots of English breakfast. Medium acidity. It’s really tasty, but I suggest letting it rest. — 6 months ago
Nice balance between fruitiness and spiciness. Nice breadth of flavor and tannin. — 3 years ago

Staple for Newton RIP. :-( Pretty intense aromas, this one smells like it will be a heavy, rich wine. Roasted nuts, pear, citrus, and vanilla cream scents. Drinks with a good mineral-focus, some salinity, very concentrated. — 4 months ago
