Tonight's wine of choice is the 2017 Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.
The nose reveals notes of grapefruit, kiwifruit, guava, papaya, jalapeño, herbs, lemongrass and wet concrete.
On the palate there is pronounced notes of lime, grapefruit, kiwifruit, melon, celery and salty minerality.
This wine is medium bodied with medium to plus acidity that lead into a medium to long clean, refreshing, salty minerality with citrus finish. I hope everyone's weekend was a good one and we all look forward to the week ahead. Please be safe and make the week a positive one. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 12 days ago

Red and blue fruits give way to orange zest , animal fur ,baking spices violets and minerals . Rich and full-bodied on the palate yet has Wonderful elegance and mineral infused finish with lingering cherry and dry extract . This wine comes from the valley floor and you get the richness and depth from the heavier soil. A stunning bottle that will improve over the next few years and last at least a decade more . — 4 days ago
Yummy, always a winner with chicken! — 6 days ago
Very simple and light. Perfect for a really hot day. A bit mineraly. It's ok and continued to drink it but there's better out there for this price point. — 9 days ago
2010 on Sep. 2, 2019. Excellent. All time favorite. But I wonder if it was better last year. — 18 days ago
