See previous Delectable notes for this 2020 Estate. Amazing quality for the price. This is the basic Kumeu Estate Chardonnay before you consider the individual Cuvées like Mates, Coddington etc. peachy stone fruit intensity on the palate with enough acidity to keep it fresh. Should be an annual purchase. Have the last one later this year or early 2026. The Village is even less expensive at only $21.50 AUD. — a month ago
citrusy, fresh… It would be my “second option”… but its really nice… — 7 days ago
Very light and fruity. — 13 days ago
This is the third bottle each two years apart and this opened very nicely after about an hour or so
I’ve increasingly liked this wine although given it the same rating
It’s well structured aromatic and just an all round good expression of well made Central Otago Pinot
Probably open the next three each with a year or less further age — a month ago
Grassy & herbal aromas. Full bodied. Nice & not too acidic. Grass, grapefruit, lime, and herbal notes, some tropical/passion fruit flavors. Stoney minerality.

I love New Zealand’s wine, their strong taste and aroma, almost no aftertaste, especially if compared to French or Italian good Sauvignon blanc. — 20 days ago
Complex, dry Riesling, apricot, apple, tangerine and minerality. — 8 days ago

Excellent example of why Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs are my favorite Sb wines. Crisp, clean, light yellow with a hint of green. Just unripe peach, sweet bell pepper. Wonderful. — 2 days ago
