Dark cherry color with aromas of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, rosemary, and wet soil. Tannins are velvety and savory with flavors on the palate of smoke, balsamic, and spices. Nice acidity, long length with a sweet vanilla finish. Will age for many more years. Fantastic price/quality relation from this very small, boutique family winery in Rioja Alavesa. — 6 years ago
