100% Tempranillo, aged for 24 months in French & American oak. Deep garnet with aromas of black fruits, smoke and sweet spices. On the palate tart berry fruit with vanilla and nutmeg layering on tobacco, smoke and dried tobacco leaves. Generous acidity on fine soft tannins, long finish ending with an earthy flair and a bit of oxidation. Nice value! Good to drink now should improve nicely over next few years. This is 100% Tempranillo, not a blend, and is the Crianza from 2015. Aromas of black fruit, vanilla, tobacco leaf, pepper, and spice. Tannins have nice grip and the medium plus acidity makes it luscious. Flavors equal aromas with a bonus of smoke and slate. Medium finish.
