Cherries and cream. Light but soft in texture. Beautiful color. Amazing rose. — a year ago
Pale yellow. Aromas of pear, apple, honey, citrus, pineapple, and minerals. A burst of citrus (lemon/lime) and bits of toast on the palate. Dry, Medium body and acidity. Nicely balanced- hints of oak, but still keeps an elegance about it. I enjoyed the layers and complexity of this one. 2018 -ages well! — 4 months ago
Nice mineral and citrus. Not overly oaky. Drinks like a white burgundy. — 9 months ago
Structured not varietal specific. Such an interesting (and preferred) take on SB. — 2 years ago
The 2021 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton is savory and sweet, with a blend of grilled herbs and flowery underbrush giving way to plum sauce and dark chocolate. It’s soft-textured and round, with lifting acidity and ripe wild berry fruits contrasted by hints of inner sage. The 2021 finishes with medium length and a subtle tinge of spice, ending with a trace of black currant. (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2024)
