Good. Don’t remember but enjoyed. No negatives would buy again — 13 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2018 “S” pours a slightly hazy garnet/purple color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry, licorice, purple flowers, green herbs and crushed rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. I love me some Lapierre. Drink now through 2038. — 8 days ago

75’s so underrated….! — 5 months ago
Dark ripe fruits (cherry, plum), bit of oak, leather, hint of dark chocolate. Lovely and full of character. — 6 months ago
All around nice wine. Medium acidity, medium tannins. Cherry and dark fruit aromas. Good by itself and pairs nicely with our homemade Tuscan style potato soup. — 9 months ago
This shows just a touch of surmaturite aromatically and on the palate, which isn’t shocking since it’s 15% ABV — normally this special cuvée checks in at 13-14% ABV. With that said, gorgeous fruit, very nice depth and balance, long, lingering finish, I just shouldn’t have opened it on a 95+ degree summer day (shrug). — 4 days ago
A year older, but just as beautiful as the ‘14. — a month ago
Really perfumed nose. Orange, honey, lemon, apples, herbs. Good acid. — 3 months ago
Year after year, outstanding Barbera from Scott Harvey. — 6 months ago
Closed fruity/ mineral nose. Palate at first closed, even dilute; then stronger white fruit, good acid, sturdy minerals; improves after an hour. Then fruit (citrus/ stone fruit/ star fruit) and saline minerals; finishes with star fruit, a bit of oak, a hint of anise. Might expect more development in a few years. — 3 years ago
Holy smokes. Currant and dark cherry, and medium red nose, that leads into a perfectly tannic finish. — 21 days ago
Really nice. Good flavour without being heavy. Mom liked, same with Dad. Rich meh. Had at her birthday. — 2 months ago
Very light and sweet. Will drink this again! — 3 months ago
Yummy Amarone with colleagues in Singapore (Shangri La Italian restaurant). Yep, would quite happily have another bottle. 2020 — 6 months ago
— 7 months ago

Great value! Would buy again. From LCBO — 3 years ago

Fruity aftertaste, maybe a pear. But still dry and very good. Can’t remember where I got it from but I want more. — a day ago
