Really nice. Good flavour without being heavy. Mom liked, same with Dad. Rich meh. Had at her birthday. — 4 months ago
75’s so underrated….! — 7 months ago
Yummy Amarone with colleagues in Singapore (Shangri La Italian restaurant). Yep, would quite happily have another bottle. 2020 — 7 months ago
— 9 months ago

Initial tastes quite a lot of tannins. A meal of steak, potatoes/tomato/zucchini gratin and corn on the cob wow! Very much a food wine. Cherry aromas, bold tannins , clean fresh a really nice Sangiovese to seek out. — 5 days ago
Fruity aftertaste, maybe a pear. But still dry and very good. Can’t remember where I got it from but I want more. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2018 “S” pours a slightly hazy garnet/purple color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry, licorice, purple flowers, green herbs and crushed rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. I love me some Lapierre. Drink now through 2038. — 2 months ago

Really perfumed nose. Orange, honey, lemon, apples, herbs. Good acid. — 5 months ago
Year after year, outstanding Barbera from Scott Harvey. — 8 months ago
Great value! Would buy again. From LCBO — 3 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2015 pours a crystal clear, pale straw color with persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright green apple, star fruit, citrus tree blossom, lemon curd and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long. This is a baby but there’s already a lot of material here. The texture is extraordinary. Expect a long life ahead. Drink now with maybe a short decant, through 2055. Third tranche. Disgorged September of 2025. — 24 days ago
This shows just a touch of surmaturite aromatically and on the palate, which isn’t shocking since it’s 15% ABV — normally this special cuvée checks in at 13-14% ABV. With that said, gorgeous fruit, very nice depth and balance, long, lingering finish, I just shouldn’t have opened it on a 95+ degree summer day (shrug). — 2 months ago
A year older, but just as beautiful as the ‘14. — 2 months ago
Dark ripe fruits (cherry, plum), bit of oak, leather, hint of dark chocolate. Lovely and full of character. — 8 months ago
Closed fruity/ mineral nose. Palate at first closed, even dilute; then stronger white fruit, good acid, sturdy minerals; improves after an hour. Then fruit (citrus/ stone fruit/ star fruit) and saline minerals; finishes with star fruit, a bit of oak, a hint of anise. Might expect more development in a few years. — 3 years ago

It’s been 4 years since my last bottle. This is a PNP and it’s amazing, not only for a 2017, but any year. Drinking wonderfully now. Structure is solid. Fruit is ripe. Just really good right now. — 18 days ago
