Guigal La Doriane meets Aubert Ritchie and then back to Chapoutier l’Oree.
Monumental wine showing mesmerizing notes of tropical fruit and flowers. Deep, rich and intense. Pine-Apple and papaya, firecracker, ginger and candied lemon. Such an impressive and heavy-handed wine… yet Its fantastic acidity makes this is so complete, so hedonistic, so cerebral….
Just great.. 🤙🏻 — 6 months ago
Really pretty nose of pineapple, tropical flowers, almond powder, baked goods. Hint of oak and butter on mid palate leading to a medium plus finish. Deeper gold color. Feels like not enough acidity. — 2 years ago
22/6/8-10 with scallop crudo, fresh homemade tagliolini al Portonat, frico, etc. side by side with the Gnemiz Sol, this was deeper, more spherical, and more complex. A pretty remarkable range of aromas - from classic Sauvignon scents to richer peach and nectarine, honey, mint, vanilla, cool stone, etc. The palate was very deep and richly satisfying while still being sprightly and drinkable, with tons of minerality that was somehow round rather than salty. This was one of the best young Sauvignon Blancs I’ve had, and I’d love to see it with some age. — 17 days ago
First wine Leo-san gave me. Nice in hot summer days — 2 years ago

1st try of the Filip and though double the price, it impressed. Pure layers of tropical fruit and stony notes, essence of peach but still so nicely dry. Excellent. — 5 days ago
