Top notch Pinot. — 9 days ago
Lost my notes again.
We love this producer, but best drunk in its youth. Tannins and acid have all but left the building. Nice heady perfume, combines with sweetness and length, but has little to no structure. Red currants on the nose and palate. Complicated wood treatment adds the most interesting dimension. Get after this pinots now. — 20 days ago
Been holding onto this for a bit but in the spirit of drinking good wine in challenging times: what a vintage. The balance is just so impeccable. Rs and acid, salt water taffy & some Meyer lemon - but overall an integrated, no hard edges elegant creature — 8 days ago
A dry but not astringent finish follows abstraction in the mouth. Maybe a little dry for an Alsatian Pinot, but this is beautifully crafted. — 12 days ago
V16. Real good. Rich notes.. creme brûlée nose. Luscious, creamy, tropical and apricot fruit with hint of Meyer lemon. Round, soft oaky finish. Nicely balanced. — a day ago
