Solid Grillo. One of the better ones I have had. — 6 years ago
On the pricier side, dry with a soli bite. Would like it to be a little smokier but leaves a lasting after taste. I’m also currently in Hawaii on a beach drinking this so there is literally nothing in this world that can disappoint me right now. My spirits are high. — 7 years ago
Lime on the nose. Frizzante. — 8 years ago
What an amazing wine. Super nose that jumps out at ya. Big cherry. Big big fucking cherry. Spices, plum, semi sweet cocoa, such aromas. Totally spellbinding. Also a sense of gamey, meaty and smokey aromas add complexity. Awesome. Palate is vibrant, deep and so juicy, with amazing fruit and terrific acid and structure. What concentration! This has tannins that are soft but ever present, but so velvety. So pure and dazzlingly fresh. Really long finish that takes over the palate. The purity of this is incredible. What a mouthfeel as well. 100% Gamay in Amphorae. — 9 years ago

Wow, this is better than good, exceptional as a mater of fact. Blackberry, blackcherry, chocolate, hints of dried plum and fig, subtle smoke and spice. This is instantly plush and velvety, lots of fruit, full on the palate with balanced acidity, round tannins, and an intense and enduring finish. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. — 3 years ago

V drinkable pinot. Yes, a little thin. Benefits from aeration. — 9 years ago
What a playful, lively burgundy pinot! Rose petals and cherry, hay and an earthy thing. Quite inviting. The palate is wonderfully made, a strong acid drive, a silky mouthfeel which leaves a layer of tenderness on the sides and which lasts for ever, even after the fruity notes of the finish fade away, a good mater with great balance, a good, powerful mid palate with a power house of a fruit and gentle tannins that help this silky layer expand for ever. This is a serious burgundy Pinot, and I'd like to have that every time I pop up a bottle from these parts. Organic wine. It raised to challenge of a spicy (hot hot Trinidad scorpion hot) dish which is not usually a burgundy thing. — 5 years ago

Vino Joe
Outstanding and fully developed. This is slightly past the advised drinking window but I had zero complaints. It was a rich brooding wine. Plenty of vigor to go with the maturity. Grounded solidly in Italian soli and dark fruit. Fantastic. — a year ago
