Les Labourons Fleurie Gamay

Took me two years to get some for the shop. Bigger and darker then your typical Fleurie. Was drinking well but a little too young. This will get better wit age and I look forward to revisiting. — 2 years ago

Grain d'argile Extra Brut Pinot Noir Chardonnay

A shimmery gold with few bubbles and amazing floral notes on the nose. It’s just so pretty and inviting immediately. Raspberry and wildflowers for days, along with dusty earth and herbs. A bit of melon, a touch of cherry, a scooch of honeycomb. Lovely.

An equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir consisting mostly of the 2017 vintage with 30% of the previous year’s wine. Nice complexity with plenty of depth and character. Mature yet still so very fresh and electric. Sans dosage and incredibly pure throughout.

The fruitiness of the Pinot shines on the palate with blue and red berries. Roasted nuts and green apples. There’s a little spice and oak. The finish is long and robust. Definitely a favorite.
