For $20 I could see drinking this often. Happy Birthday to my wife (44)! — 9 days ago
Yep you saw that price tag correctly 😱!! My favorite wine stop in Iowa City decided these were not moving! So I ever so graciously took the last three off of his hands!
@David T I was slightly concerned...no temp/climate control..just sitting on the shelf (thoughts?). Chance it I did and nothing off with this Tempier!
Delicious as always previous notes apply!
Lucky I am! 👍😁🤷♂️ — a day ago
Mezcla tina, or “Red Blend”
Syrah dominant, a helluva barnyard nose!
Heavier bodied, with bits of blueberry and apple skins, some sweet grass, tobacco, aged perfectly, (I got lucky), with the tannins complementing the star fruit acidity.
50% Syrah, 14% Petite Syrah, 26% Garnacha, 10% Petit Verdot.
This is the first red wine I have had from this area, usually known for Pisco production. — 24 days ago
I have never been great at pulling out the nuances of whites. But we will give it a try. Nose had a clean grassy oak aroma. I noticed more what I thought to be star fruit but others said apples and grapefruit. You decide. This lingers in your mouth with a nice long finish. Enjoyed it with charcuterie in which it shined. — 3 months ago
These are so young, but completely irresistible right now. Nose is compelling with mixed berry notes and a hint of star anise. The palate shows high toned pomegranate and bright red berries. It has a savory/earthy component with brisk, fresh acid. These are showing great right now. — 6 days ago
