Ripe plum, mulberry, touch of smoke, cassis, tobacco, faint olive and blueberry fruit leather. Subtle C. Howard’s Violet candy on the nose. Certainly developed over a two hour decant into many exciting layers. A superlative example of this grape and such a wonderful full bodied wine for those with all tastes and palates. — 12 days ago
Honey notes explode on the palate. A little citrus. Overall very soft and nice. — 6 hours ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2022 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart orchard fruit: passion fruit, lemon, sea spray, white flowers, lanolin and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with a wooly texture and lovely minerals. Drinking now through 2037. — a month ago
Meaty and intense. Lush with violets, a deep purity and smoothly intense. Really great stuff. A little more powerful than the 82 alongside but a whisper less refined — a day ago

Lovely and lively. Great citrus clarity and a lovely oily poise. Great balance. — a month ago
