1966 vintage. Last tasted 9.20.23. That bottle was a little "chunkier." This one was more refined. Decanted and tasted nearly immediately and throughout a 2 hour window. Throwing the expected kitchen sink's worth of sed. Color initially seemed lighter, like 30+ year old red Burg but ended up being a tad darker than that. Light-medium body. Earth, summer dirt and Valrhona chocolate in the nose. All this plus dried cherries in the frontal palate finish. Not much to speak of on the back end. Rated that 9.20.23 bottle an 8.8 and this is slightly better. Still...a definite rush to crush this. 11.11.23. — 5 months ago
Well worth the wait. Impressive fruit after twenty years, with softer tanins. — 8 months ago
Rarely do I go over the top on ratings but this is very deserving. Just extraordinary in its complexity, balance and profile. Dark and inky in the glass, loads of red and black fruits, cedar and a hint of chocolate. The finish just lingers and the tannins have softened. I'd say this was well worth the wait. — 5 months ago
This one SLAPS very fruity, but doesn’t over do it. It feels like it’s been aged for longer than 3 years. It’s incredible. Well worth the price tag. — 7 months ago
Really good! With Stephanie - from wegmans she said the sauv Blanc is also exceptional! Worth the price — 4 months ago
Ripe red raspberry, soft tannins, a wonderful wine! — 5 months ago

Wow what a Blend. Bold and a glass-staining dark color! Every sip was savor worthy from beginning to end. While you could taste the Zin the other varietals came through as well. An excellent wine worth the price! — 3 months ago
