Mostly Cab with 8% Merlot. The fruit comes from Sacrashe and Hall's vineyards on Diamond Mountain and Atlas Peak. An absolute favorite, complex red/black fruit aromas, herb and sweet notes. On the palate full ripe rich fruit, raspberry and blackberry with a smoky savory character, adding leather and cacao notes. Dusty full tannins, more time will benefit however drinking well now, on long finish ending with complex earthy spices.

Mostly Cab with 8% Merlot added. The fruit comes from Sacrashe and Hall's vineyards on Diamond Mountain and Atlas Peak. An absolute favorite, complex fruit aromas, herb notes with underlying sweet notes. On the palate full ripe rich fruit, raspberry and blackberry with a smoky savory character., adding leather and cacao notes. Dusty full tannins needing more time on lingering finish ending with enticing earthy spices. Needs time. I recently had an β€˜09 and it was wonderful.

Tailgate wine! Gorgeous TX evening alongside some gorgeous Napa Cab. This even tasted excellent in a cheap plastic cup πŸ˜‚. I’ve had the β€˜11, β€˜12, β€˜13 and now β€˜14 of this and I feel like this and the β€˜13 are neck and neck. Sweet toasted oak on the nose as well as blueberry preserves. Voluptuous on the palate with a rush of plums and nutmeg. No tart fruit here at all. Cassis, birch wood and a blackberry finish. Go Frogs!

Heavy and yummy (professional rating) notes of cherries and licorice. It needs a little decant.
